Andrés Sánchez Bodas - Argentina

Antonio Tena Suck - Mexico

​George Davy Vera - Venezuela

Dr. Vera is a Professor Emeritus granted by the University of Zulia (2004), Maracaibo, Venezuela. Currently,  Dr. Vera is a Professor at Barry University, USA.  Professor Vera has been working intensively in the field of Counseling for 35 years. He holds several academic degrees: A Pedagogical Sciences BE with an emphasis on Counseling by the University of Zulia; MS in Behavioral Counseling (Center for Psychiatric, Psychological and Sexual Research in Venezuela). Another MEd in Counselor Education, with an emphasis on Community Services and Mental Health Counseling and a Ph.D. in Counselor Education & Supervision, with an emphasis on Mental Health and Research (University of New Orleans, USA).  His postdoctoral training includes a clinical residency in socio-community mental health services (McFarland Institute, New Orleans, USA)  and Human Sciences postdoctorate focused on the ethical-intellectual education and development of counselors’ professional identity of others helping professionals (University of Zulia, Venezuela).  His teaching and research interests focus on Counseling for mental health from transtheoretical approaches, individual and community counseling, as well as consultation for the development of leadership programs, accreditation and certification of Counseling professionals. Dr. Vera is the founder and coordinator of two recognized research groups in Venezuela, one group dedicated to The Pedagogy and Praxis of Counseling, and the other group on Theory and Praxis of Qualitative Research. Internationally, Dr. Vera has been a facilitator and lecturing on several issues; such as Ethics, Mental Health Counseling, Leadership and Supervision of Counselors in several countries, including Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Cuba, Nicaragua, United States, Switzerland, India, Spain and France.
